Commercial Assurance Specialist

Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in commercial assurance and advice? We're seeking talented individuals to support commercial activities across the Defence Digital Group.

The scope of this role includes providing dedicated support for large ICT programs, commercial assurance and advice, coordination with Defence projects, procurement of ICT services, and engaging specialist advice.

You will be contributing your expertise to complex ICT transformation projects, building and maintaining critical infrastructure and systems, and managing one of the largest ICT networks in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial assurance and advice on procurements and contract management
  • Coordinate with Defence projects and stakeholders to ensure rapid transition to acquisition
  • Procure ICT support services and other enabling agreements
  • Engage specialist advice from within and outside Defence
  • Build relationships and negotiate with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Framework and compliance obligations
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills to interpret and provide advice on complex commercial issues
  • Ability to communicate effectively and deliver procurement-related documentation
  • Flexibility and adaptability to lead change initiatives and challenge traditional ways of doing business
