Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Claims Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of our claims processes.

  • Reviewing claims processes, including phone calls, claims outcomes, and communications to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Examining customer experience and satisfaction of claims management, considering the voice of the Customer and implementing outcome improvements.
  • Ensuring product integrity is reviewed and maintained.
  • Reviewing live claims payments as per agreed limits and processes to identify potential leakage, money lost, and incorrect or duplicate payments.
  • Ensuring payments are appropriately documented, authority levels are complied with, and decisions are made within policy coverage.
  • Reducing payments and claims errors by liaising with and communicating with Claims Officers, Team Leaders, and training team members.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in insurance claims processing.
  • An understanding of insurance processes and legislation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to have difficult conversations with peers as required.
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify patterns.
