We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Management Professional to join our team. As a Senior Claims Assessor, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims and ensuring their seamless resolution whilst maintaining quality and effectiveness to meet the General Insurance Code of Practice obligations (GICOP).
">Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage a mixed accident and health portfolio of claims end to end.
- Ensure customer complaints are resolved to conclusion for the benefit of customers and the business to support customer satisfaction, service improvements and team development.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, legislative, and internal compliance obligations, and effective systems and processes are in place, including ongoing monitoring and reporting.
- Guarantee claims practices are person centred, efficient and have a clear linkage to achieving fair claims outcomes and leakage avoidance.
- Enhance the level of team engagement, ensuring customer focus is maintained and operational expenses are tightly controlled.
- Deliver excellent service including timely and accurate responses over the phone and via e-mail which prioritise the client's needs and manage expectations.
- Apply your analytical thinking to assess and resolve claims efficiently.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Accident & Health in a similar position is highly preferred.
- A background managing the full breadth of the claims management lifecycle.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including up to date awareness of regulatory requirements including GICOP.
