The Role of a Claims Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced claims manager to join our team at Marsh Australia. This role will be based in the Sydney office, with a hybrid requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

A successful claims manager will proactively manage a varied portfolio of strata and homeowner claims, overseeing the entire claims process from evaluation to resolution. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service to insurer clients, thoroughly evaluating claims to determine policy coverage and negotiating favorable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of claims, including strata and homeowner claims
  • Oversee the entire claims process, from evaluation to resolution
  • Deliver exceptional service to insurer clients

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in insurance
  • Experience working to deadlines and within SLA timeframes
  • Broad knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
