The Oxley Christian College is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Director of Student Wellbeing & College Psychologist. This full-time position commences in July 2025 and requires a dynamic individual who can lead initiatives to promote student mental health, provide counselling services, and support the overall wellbeing of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the holistic psychological and emotional development of students at Oxley Christian College.
  • Lead initiatives to promote student mental health and provide counselling services.
  • Serve as the resident College Psychologist, providing psychological services to students within the Junior and Senior Schools.
  • Conduct psychological assessments, provide counselling and consultation to students, parents and College staff.

In this role, you will work closely with students, parents and College staff to identify wellbeing, psychological and educational concerns. You will make recommendations for referral out or management within the College, in accordance with the College's referral preferences.

Requirements
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Essential or relevant qualifications in psychology or a related field.
  • Necessary experience and attributes in relation to child safety.
