About the Role

We're currently seeking funds lawyers with expertise in fund formation, establishment, registration, distribution, and marketing. Successful applicants will have a right to work and reside in Australia, be qualified to practice in Australia, and have a minimum of four years' post-qualification experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on fund formation and establishment, including IPOs and fundraisings
  • Assist with fund registration, distribution, and marketing
  • Draft and negotiate fund investments
  • Provide general asset management activities
  • Ensure fund-related regulation, compliance, and ESG
Requirements
  • A right to work and reside in Australia
  • Qualified to practice in Australia – unrestricted
  • A minimum of four years' post-qualification experience, ideally within a top-tier law firm and a leading financial institution or corporate
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in a common law jurisdiction
  • Self-starter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client service-focused with a commitment to exemplary client service
  • Strong commercial/business acumen
  • Resilient, adaptable, autonomous, and highly credible
