About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team at HRG. As a trusted partner of large enterprises in Australia, we provide career growth opportunities in Australia and overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate requests for intents, proposals for IT services contracts, non-disclosure agreements, software license agreements, teaming agreements, subcontracts, MOUs, etc.
  • Ensure that our Client's business meets contractual, regulatory, statutory, and legal obligations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement legal strategies.
  • Provide expert legal advice on contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risk.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience working within an Information Technology or IT services organisation, providing legal expertise on contracts.
  • Experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts for IT Consulting Services, ADM (Application Development & Maintenance), Managed Services, Outsourcing Services, Software Licensing, or Cloud Services.
  • Skilled negotiator with a deep understanding of legal principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a proactive approach and a commitment to achieving deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in law from an Australian University.
  • Holding a practising certificate as an in-house corporate lawyer to practice in NSW and/or Victoria.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
