About the Role

Are you passionate about enhancing healthcare systems? As a Clinical Application Support Specialist at Dedalus, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our clinical solutions.

Your Responsibilities

In this position, you will be an integral part of our Clinical Support team, dedicated to delivering exceptional support for our leading clinical applications. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality resolution for incidents and problems related to our industry-leading Emergency Department and Operating Room applications.
  • Providing expert functional guidance both internally and externally to promote optimal outcomes for our clients.
  • Managing tasks effectively, including incident triage, analysis, and resolution, while identifying and categorizing defects.
  • Utilizing effective delegation and escalation methods to resolve incidents within established service level agreements.
  • Collaborating with the broader Clinical Support team on all aspects of incident and problem management.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to enhance collaboration and support continuous improvement.
  • Assisting clients during user acceptance testing and adhering to ITIL frameworks to ensure quality processes.
  • Participating in a rotating schedule for out-of-hours incident support.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting clinical applications within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in providing functional and/or technical support for healthcare IT systems.
  • Proficiency in T/SQL or PL/SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are desirable:

  • A degree in Health Information Management or Information Technology.
  • Understanding of interfacing and HL7 messaging.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes.
