Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned retail professional to lead our operations in Canberra, with occasional travel to conduct audits.

This role will be responsible for establishing and managing a Planned Preventive Maintenance Program, ensuring assets are maintained to a high standard of presentation, and overseeing day-to-day operations, risk management, and contractor relationships.

The successful candidate will have the ability to drive efficiency improvements, provide recommendations on maintenance and operational issues, and assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage a Planned Preventive Maintenance Program.
  • Maintain assets to a high standard of presentation.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, risk management, and contractor relationships.
  • Drive efficiency improvements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' commercial/retail/industrial experience in facilities and/or property management.
  • Trade qualification preferable or significant work experience in a similar role.
  • Valid driver's license for the performance of duties.
  • Solid understanding of all facets of Facilities Management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
