About the Role:

As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and processing end-to-end weekly payroll in accordance with awards and EBA's
  • Maintaining relevant payroll information, including leave, child support, and salary sacrificing
  • Completing legislative requirements, including PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and WorkCover
  • Assisting employees with payroll-related queries
  • Reconciliations and journals for monthly and yearly reports
  • Assisting the Group Payroll Manager with ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

  • Experience with large payroll systems is preferred
  • Experience with both Australian and NZ payroll is advantageous
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to deal with high pressure and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong processing of high-volume end-to-end payroll experience
  • Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
