About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team at Kirinari Community Services. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as domestic assistance, personal care, and meal preparation.
  • Provide social support and companionship to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist clients with shopping and appointments, and provide transportation as needed.
  • Respite care and support for clients and their families.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Available to work shifts across Monday to Friday, 7am-7pm, with some weekend and public holiday work required.
  • Highly regarded but not essential - Studying or completed a minimum Certificate III in a health-related industry (Individual Support, Aged Care Community Services, Nursing etc.).
  • Qualification in First Aid and CPR is highly regarded or willing to obtain.
  • Willingness to get physical and help with domestic work – Mopping, vacuuming, washing, general cleaning.
  • Genuine desire and ability to connect and develop a meaningful relationship.
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willing to obtain.
