The role of Injury Management Consultant is pivotal in supporting ill and injured employees within the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Division at Victoria Police.
This ongoing full-time position involves early and ongoing management to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, focusing on effective and timely coordination of return-to-work planning.
As an Injury Management Consultant, you will be responsible for providing proactive injury management to support the safe and sustainable return to work of ill and injured workers at Victoria Police.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers to ensure Victoria Police meets return to work obligations in accordance with the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013.
- Facilitate pro-active early intervention and prevention strategies, contributing to the upskilling of managers to enhance injury prevention activities and stay at/return to work programs.
- Liaise with injured employees, workplace managers, and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate immediate support and develop timely and safe return to work strategies.
