About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for you to start your career journey with a leading retail company, where you'll be responsible for ensuring the store's cleanliness and maintaining a safe environment for customers and colleagues. As a key member of our Proactive Services team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the overall appearance and condition of the store.
Key Responsibilities- Complete assigned cleaning tasks on a daily basis, including sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolleys bays, and team rooms, as well as emptying bins.
- Collect trolleys from the car park and surrounding areas, ensuring they are properly stored and ready for use.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver specific cleaning needs, working efficiently and effectively to maintain high standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, providing directions, and assisting with any queries or concerns.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A strong physical presence, enabling you to comfortably handle physically demanding tasks and maintain a safe working environment.
- The ability to stand for extended periods, lift loads between 5-10kgs, and work in various environments, such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and car parks.
- Flexibility to work across Monday-Sunday, with shifts starting from 6am or 5pm, and availability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that the store maintains its pristine condition.
