This is an exciting opportunity to join our Proactive Services Team as a Trolley Collector Driver. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stores are in pristine condition, allowing our customers to experience a clean and hygienic environment.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to collect trolleys in car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle. You will be fully trained to operate our trolley collection vehicles and undergo an assessment to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge.

  • You will drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs.
  • Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle.
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays.
  • Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle.
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection.
  • Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys.
  • You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence or Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates).
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift.
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
