About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our dynamic team in the Surgical Specialties and Anaesthetics division at Lyell McEwin Hospital.
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide nursing and/or midwifery services in a variety of health service settings, developing from competent to proficient practitioners.
You will accept accountability for your own practice standards, activities delegated to others, and the guidance and development of less experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with other AN/MUM and the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent;
- Assist the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent in the implementation of practice changes;
- Support the Nursing/Midwifery Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent in the leadership of nurses/midwives in the ward/unit/service.
Requirements:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate;
- Dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Associate Nurse Unit Manager looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic, growing healthcare network.
