About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead a dynamic team as a Nurse Unit Manager within the Northern Adelaide Cancer Centre at SA Health.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and leading nursing/midwifery and/or multi-disciplinary team activities to achieve continuity and quality of patient/client care and outcomes.

The role involves line management, coordination, and leadership of nursing/midwifery and/or multi-disciplinary team activities to achieve continuity and quality of patient/client care and outcomes.

The focus is on delivering high-quality care to patients while ensuring the well-being of staff members and fostering a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and lead nursing/midwifery and/or multi-disciplinary team activities.
  • Ensure continuity and quality of patient/client care and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must be Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $122,000 - $127,000 per annum.
