Key Responsibilities- Establishing Standard Measuring Templates: Collaborate with the Estimating Team to develop and refine existing standardized templates within CostX for efficient and accurate measurement.
- Detailed Quantity Takeoff and Application of Rates: Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for building works in CostX in accordance with the templates and standard operating procedures provided, ensuring all measurements are accurate and align with project specifications.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate document control to ensure clarity of information used for basis of takeoff/measure, and generate clear clarification registers to communicate assumptions made during takeoff/measure.
- Quality Control and Accuracy: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all measurements taken in CostX, and regularly review and cross-check measurements against project drawings and specifications to identify and correct any discrepancies.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of CostX for measurement, and share best practices and tips for efficient measurement processes.
- High Level of Understanding and Skills: High level of understanding and skills with CostX and other measurement software programs.
- Cost Control Systems: Understanding and experience in cost control systems.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Great level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Standard Method of Measurement: Understanding standard method of measurement and quantity surveying practices and processes.
- Communication and Relationship Building Skills: Effective communication and relationship building skills.
