Our expertise encompasses a wide range of areas including contraception, pregnancy options counselling, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), common gynecological issues, cervical cancer screening, abortion services, breast awareness, and sexual health for both women and men. We uphold the rights of our clients to make informed choices regarding their reproductive and sexual health, treating everyone with utmost respect, dignity, and understanding.

Project Objectives

Family Planning NSW is in search of a contractor to perform an environmental assessment aimed at guiding the formulation of the Family Planning NSW Strategic Plan. The consultancy's objectives include:

  1. Identifying external trends, opportunities, and challenges that may influence Family Planning NSW's services in the future.
  2. Delivering a thorough analysis to support the strategic planning process.
Scope of Work

The environmental assessment will encompass, but not be limited to, a review of:

  1. Political Factors: Examination of governmental policies, regulations, and political dynamics that could affect sexual and reproductive health and rights both in Australia and globally.
  2. Economic Factors: Evaluation of economic trends, market conditions, and funding opportunities.
  3. Social Factors: Analysis of cultural trends and societal values regarding sexual and reproductive health and rights.
  4. Technological Factors: Investigation of technological advancements and their potential effects on the delivery of sexual and reproductive health services and education.
  5. Environmental Factors: Assessment of environmental challenges, climate change impacts, and sustainability considerations.
  6. Legal Factors: Review of regulatory requirements that influence Family Planning NSW services.
  7. Internal Capability: Analysis of organizational resources, expertise, and culture.

The consultant will be responsible for producing a comprehensive report that summarizes the findings of the environmental assessment along with recommendations for consideration in the strategic planning process. The results of the consultancy will be presented to the Board and Executive during a planning meeting.
