Environmental Consultant

We are seeking a talented Environmental Consultant to join our Planning and Environmental Approvals Team based in Sydney.
In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering our extensive project pipeline encompassing environmental planning, impact assessment, and approvals. You will contribute to significant projects across a range of sectors with a strong focus on defence, renewables, energy storage, transport, and water.

We offer genuine flexibility, including a hybrid (home/office) working arrangement, to promote work-life balance. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare environmental constraints reports, REFs, scoping documents, environmental impact assessments, statutory planning submissions, and environmental management plans.
- Provide environmental and planning advice to both internal and external clients.
- Contribute to the delivery of outstanding projects via technical input and by assisting in project management and specialist coordination.

- Continue to develop your own technical and consulting skills to progressively take on greater responsibilities as experience grows.
- A degree/postgraduate qualification in environmental science, environmental planning, or a related discipline.
- 2-6 years' experience in environmental planning, impact assessment, and approvals.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the application of New South Wales and Commonwealth environmental planning legislation.
- Exceptional reporting and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills with strong motivation and ability to work self-directed.
