Environmental Impact Assessment and Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team in Darwin. As a key member of our environmental practice, you will play a crucial role in supporting a diverse range of projects across defence, government, mining, and oil and gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage timely and high-quality environmental impact assessments, constraints analyses, strategic assessments, and environmental management plans.
  • Assist in the organisation of resources, budgets, and timelines for the management of these projects.
  • Conduct studies and assessments, data analysis, technical writing, and presentations as required.
  • Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
  • Mentor junior members of the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Environmental advisory and impact assessment experience and detailed understanding of relevant legislation and approval frameworks.
  • Strong commercial acumen and emotional intelligence to develop and maintain positive relationships to enhance client retention and growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence others as a strong team player.
  • Confidence in translating technical information into accessible language in your written work and other communications.
