Your Impact

We're seeking a talented and values-driven individual to join our Planning and Environmental Approvals Team in Sydney. In this role, you'll contribute to significant projects across various sectors, including defence, renewables, energy storage, transport, and water.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare environmental constraints reports, REFs, scoping documents, environmental impact assessments, statutory planning submissions, and environmental management plans.
  • Provide environmental and planning advice to internal and external clients.
  • Contribute to the delivery of outstanding projects through technical input and project management assistance.

  • Work with a national practice team, enabling you to work on projects across Australia with our 280+ strong Environmental Solutions business.
  • Develop your technical and consulting skills to progressively take on greater responsibilities as your experience grows.

Requirements

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in environmental science, environmental planning, or a related discipline.
  • 2-6 years' experience in environmental planning, impact assessment, and approvals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the application of New South Wales and Commonwealth environmental planning legislation.
  • Exceptional reporting and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong motivation and ability to work self-directed.
