The Role:

This full-time position as a Machinist/Joiner will work in a joinery factory environment. You will read job sheets containing drawings with measurements and designs that need to be manufactured using various machines. Job sheets will be provided daily, along with drawings and additional notes required for completing tasks.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate PANEL SAW MACHINE,
  • CNC ROUTER MACHINE, and EDGEBANDER MACHINE
Requirements:
  • Semi-trade qualified or demonstrated experience,
  • Demonstrate an understanding of different timber types such as MDF, Solid Timber, Chip Board, Ply, Veneer, and Laminates,
  • Ability to read job sheets and create own cutting lists from provided job sheets,
  • Able to take instructions and follow through on tasks,
  • Proven attention to detail,
  • Takes pride in work,
  • Meets deadlines,
  • Safety-conscious,
  • Conducts themselves appropriately regarding culture and values,
  • In possession of a driver's license and transport,
  • Comfortable working within teams.
About You:

You're a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their trade and enjoys working within a team environment. Essential skills include previous experience with machines (CNC), sound knowledge of safety management and risk assessment, great references, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
