We're seeking a skilled professional to develop policy positions on tertiary education, international education, and student visa policy.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work across a diverse range of professionals, analyzing government policy impacts and building strategic relationships with government officials, peak bodies, and policy influencers.
Main Responsibilities- Analyze government policy impacts on our operations and objectives.
- Develop advocacy plans for government relations campaigns.
- Build and maintain relationships with government officials, peak bodies, and policy influencers.
- Prepare submissions for government reviews and legislation, collaborating with stakeholders to shape our policy positions.
- A relevant degree with substantial experience or extensive experience in tertiary education or complex regulatory environments.
- Knowledge of the tertiary education sector, policies, and emerging trends.
- Proven ability to advise senior leaders and develop strategic relationships.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Commercial acumen with creative problem-solving skills.
