Job Description

The Strategic Policy Advisor will play a crucial role in supporting the risk teams in understanding and following the Risk Management Framework. This includes collaborating with policy owners and contacts to ensure compliance with the Policy Governance Framework and relevant supporting systems and procedures.

You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the review and update of all Group Policies, ensuring they are fit for purpose and easy to use. Additionally, you will assist with the uplift and continuous improvement of risk reporting and support the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in vital Board reporting.

The successful candidate will have a great understanding of risk and controls methodology and approaches, as well as previous experience working within complex environments with multiple stakeholders. You will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

About the Role:
  • Support the risk teams in understanding and following the Risk Management Framework

About You:
  • Graduate of Accounting, Finance, Law or commensurate qualifications/experience
  • Great understanding of risk and controls methodology and approaches
  • Previous experience working within complex environments with multiple stakeholders
