Housekeeping Assistant Job Overview
">The Housekeeping Assistant plays a critical role in providing quality housekeeping and cleaning services, focusing on infection control and ensuring a safe, healthy living environment for residents.
">Working closely with the Facility Manager and the Hotel Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, main entrance, outdoor entertainment areas, admin offices and dining halls, as well as providing laundry services and meeting residents daily needs.
">This is a physical role requiring frequent bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out daily tasks safely. It's essential you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents.
">About You">As a compassionate and customer-focused individual, you're a strong communicator and problem solver who thinks on your feet. You build supportive relationships and strive for the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and order within the entire facility.
">At Infinite Aged Care, we hire based on attitude and aptitude, so experience in aged care isn't necessary. However, you do need to be aligned with our philosophy and values, possess strong communication skills, be computer literate and have a commitment to resident wellbeing.
