About the PositionWe are looking for motivated and skilled Disability Support Workers to join our team in Bathurst, AU. As a DSW, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services to individuals living with disability, enabling them to reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and domestic assistance to participants, promoting independence and dignity.
- Assist participants with community access, including transportation and social activities, fostering social connections and inclusivity.
- Support participants with goal setting and achievement, empowering them to take control of their lives and pursue their aspirations.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless and effective support services, meeting the complex needs of participants.
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in disability support principles.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) – current and valid, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
- Current Police Check (issued within the last 3 years), verifying a participant's safety and well-being.
- Valid First Aid Certificate (within 3 years) and CPR (within 1 year), equipping you to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You, showcasing your commitment to quality and participant-centered care.
