We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker.

This role involves providing essential assistance to clients with high needs, aiding with personal care and daily tasks. You will work closely with clients who use wheelchairs and have additional medical needs, ensuring they receive the necessary care and support.

Our team fosters independence in a shared living environment, promoting autonomy and encouraging residents to reach their full potential. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for handling complex situations with empathy and composure, making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

About The Role

  • Deliver personalized support to clients, building positive relationships and understanding their unique needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a seamless service, prioritizing tasks and demonstrating problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible availability for shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Holder of a valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Able to pass a National Criminal History Check.
  • Full COVID vaccination status.
  • Experience working with high-needs Disability clients.
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) processes desirable.
