Subdivision Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to assess and determine development and subdivision applications under the Local Government Act.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing the development of new subdivisions as well as built form developments by providing professional engineering advice. This role also includes conducting development and/or subdivision assessment and inspections having regard to Council's certifying responsibilities.
About You
We are looking for a self-starter with a solid understanding of the planning and legislative framework governing engineering design, construction and certification. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for engineering and development, thrive on collaboration, have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and be energised by the opportunity to drive quality outcomes.
- This role requires strong technical knowledge and skills in subdivision and development engineering, including experience in the use of relevant software and tools.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve project goals and objectives.
