Job Description

We are seeking an experienced subdivision and development engineer to drive quality outcomes for the community. The successful candidate will assess and determine development and subdivision applications under relevant legislation, support our certifying responsibilities through inspections and evaluations, and promote a customer-focused approach that enhances outcomes for both the community and our organization.

This role involves assessing and managing the development of new subdivisions as well as built form developments by providing professional engineering advice. The successful candidate will also conduct development and/or subdivision assessment and inspections, having regard to our role as Principal Certifier, provide advice to developers and staff, and manage customer requests.

About You

We are looking for a qualified engineer with subdivision and development engineering experience who is a self-starter with a solid understanding of the planning and legislative framework governing engineering design, construction and certification. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for engineering and development, thrive on collaboration, have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and be energized by the opportunity to drive quality outcomes.
