This is an exciting opportunity to join the Victoria University Student Communications and Service Excellence portfolio and leverage your data analytic and reporting expertise. The Monitoring and Performance Coordinator will provide strategic, insightful, and data-driven support to the portfolio on the performance of key services and commercial partners to inform decision-making and business requirements.
The role focuses on leveraging data effectively to deliver reporting, data analysis, and insight in supporting decision-making across the Student Services and Administration portfolio. The Monitoring and Performance Coordinator will analyse and track project performance, problem-solving along the way, to report on contract and service performance and results.
Fostering significant relationships with internal and external key stakeholders of student services will be important in this role in order to drive an adaptable culture that is responsive to data.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and author relevant reports with a focus on analytic assessment of results
- Actively improve data analytics and reporting processes
- Create/extract statistical tables, reports, and analysis relating to student statistics and other commercial/service performance indicators
- Undertake data collection, assessment, verification, and validation work to support improvement of the student experience
- Monitor and analyse internal and external areas for performance in various areas of Student Services and Student Administration
- Monitor cost to service models for acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Drive a culture that is responsive to data and is adaptable
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in data analysis and performance monitoring, coupled with a proven track record of delivering programs and services within a customer-centric framework. You demonstrate expertise in developing reporting solutions and advanced data analytics. You will have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling clear interpretation of complex data and effective communication of findings. Strong database and Excel skills are required. Exposure to or experience with advanced data analysis and report-building tools like Power BI is advantageous.
You should be recognised for your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, consistently delivering high-quality results.
