This role involves combining transcription and monitoring skills to deliver accurate results. You will work closely with colleagues and clients to maintain clear communication and ensure smooth workflow.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing high-quality transcripts that meet delivery deadlines.
  • Proofreading all transcripts prior to submission.
  • Utilizing supporting information to ensure accurate monitoring and transcription.
  • Maintaining glossaries and staying up-to-date with new terminology.
  • Cross-training on various jurisdictions as directed by the business.
  • Staying familiar with production tools and technologies.
  • Meeting productivity levels as set by the business.
  • Producing high-quality audio recordings of hearings.
  • Creating accurate annotations of hearings.
  • Obtaining accurate spellings of names, places, and terminology.
  • Utilizing various recording technologies such as Liberty and FTR.
  • Recording hearing sitting times and travel times accurately.
  • Uploading and converting audio as required.
  • Traveling to record proceedings outside of office locations.
  • Communicating effectively with team members.
  • Acting on feedback from quality assurance leads or managers.
  • Participating in ad hoc projects.
  • Attending periodic performance reviews.
  • Completing annual security and compliance training.
