The role of a senior camp manager involves overseeing project site general facilities and managing transportation contracts on a daily basis. This includes leading a team responsible for various areas such as general facilities, ground and air transportation, site supplier contract management, catering, recreation, hospitality, cleaning, laundry, and maintenance.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the site operates according to established standards, managing supplier contracts, maintaining fluid communication with project teams, contractors, and clients. Additionally, the candidate will supervise logistics for personnel transfers and site occupancy, providing meals and ensuring contract compliance and timely delivery.
A background in administration or related fields is essential, along with over 15 years of experience in camp management, general services, contractor oversight, or similar areas. Basic knowledge of HSE, quality control, and planning is also required. Strong interpersonal skills, contractor management, and reporting capabilities are essential.
