About this Role

This leadership position oversees sports camps and programs, seeking a highly skilled leader with excellent communication abilities and passion for student engagement.

The ideal candidate will coordinate camp experiences, develop resources, and supervise staff. They will work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and develop camp experiences in year 7 and 8
  • Coordinate the Duke of Edinburgh Award Bronze outdoor experience in year 9
  • Collaborate with the Leader of Learning Health and Physical Education to develop resources for the Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award curriculum
  • Coordinate the Duke of Edinburgh Award Silver and Gold program
  • Communicate protocols for working with students and teachers during camps
  • Maintain and manage equipment
  • Liaise with internal and external staff to monitor and manage risk
  • Promote and develop the co-curricular Sports program
  • Supervise and direct the Administration Assistant and AFL Trainee
  • Oversee and coordinate House and Inter School Sporting activities and teams

About You:

  • Leadership Experience (desirable)
  • Excellent computer and excel skills and experience in Microsoft office tools
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Able to prioritize, with excellent time management skills

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship or residency
  • Will participate in a Good Samaritan Education formation session
  • Confidentiality, respectful professional relationships, and professional conduct at all times
