  • Establish Strategic Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain direct relationships with suppliers to optimize procurement economies and ensure a competitive advantage.
  • Product Positioning and Marketing: Develop and implement product positioning strategies, including features, benefits, and pricing, to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Marketing and Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales Managers to develop and implement marketing plans for new and existing products, driving sales and revenue growth across the retail network.
  • Company Policy and Initiatives: Communicate and contextualize information from the leadership team to implement company policies and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Degree or Above in Business or Marketing: A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Proven Track Record in Category Management: A solid track record of working in consumer goods Trade Marketing, Category Management, or National Account Management is essential.
  • Strong Communication and Presentation Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills in spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software are necessary.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Demonstrated competencies in collaboration, teamwork, critical thinking, and achieving results in alignment with business goals are essential.
  • Sales Management Experience: Sales management experience dealing with customers at senior level is required.
  • Interpersonal and Stakeholder Management Skills: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are necessary.
