About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work at Uniting Quong Tart, our Chinese speaking facility, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with clients with varied needs and backgrounds, acting as a key touch point during the initial settling-in period.
  • Assist residents by working with staff to provide direct care, ensuring a high standard of care is delivered.
  • Assist Homemakers to build the team and create a positive culture within the home.
  • Coordinate and facilitate quality, timely, and effective education to build capacity in all members of the team.
  • Promote the rights and privacy of our clients, in accordance with relevant policy and legislation.
  • Work towards continuous improvement of our service, ensuring it meets Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
About You

We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual who possesses a Certificate 4 in Aged Care, with demonstrated care experience. You will have a good understanding of the Aged Care Standards and policies, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

You will be able to work collaboratively with a team, problem-solve, negotiate, mediate, and resolve conflict. You will also have experience in coordinating and delivering education, and be tech-savvy with the ability to document and communicate electronically.
