About the Role

This is a key position within the Uniting team, working at our Chinese speaking facility, Uniting Quong Tart. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our clients with varied needs and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with clients and staff to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Assist residents with daily care needs and work collaboratively with staff to provide direct care
  • Coordinate and facilitate education programs to build capacity within the care team
  • Promote client rights and privacy, adhering to relevant policies and legislation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our service, ensuring it meets Aged Care Accreditation Standards

About You

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual who possesses a Certificate 4 in Aged Care, with demonstrated care experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of Aged Care Standards and key policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem-solve, negotiate, and mediate
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience in coordinating and delivering education programs
  • Good understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and risk management practices

Desirable Qualifications

  • Previous experience in coaching and quality systems management
  • Current First Aid certificate
