We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a 2IC (Second in Charge) in our Newport program. As a 2IC, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Service in creating and implementing enriching experiences for the children.
  • Support with ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Interact with parents and respond to their enquiries.
  • Engage with the school community and attend events when necessary.
  • Play and have fun with primary school aged children.
  • Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program.

Requirements:

  • You must be passionate about working with children and have a positive attitude.
  • You should be a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in Before and After School Care or education is desirable, but not essential.
  • You must have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • You should be looking for stable, permanent part-time hours.
  • You must be qualified or studying towards an ACECQA recognised qualification in Victoria.
