Instrument Technician Role Overview

This is a key position in our laboratory team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of various instruments, ensuring they are functioning optimally and minimizing downtime due to technical issues.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting and routine optimization of instrument performance
  • Preparing calibration solutions for sample analysis
  • Checking and reporting of results
  • Prioritizing daily workloads, performing instrument performance tests, and maintaining accurate documentation

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician with a strong background in commercial laboratory settings. An ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years' experience working with ICP instrumentation. A chemistry degree is advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of solution preparation techniques, wet chemistry, and sample handling is also required.
