Support Worker

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have experience working in the disability sector and a passion for making a real impact in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adventure Guide: Assist clients in trying new activities and experiences.
  • Skill Builder: Teach life skills to clients with patience and enthusiasm.
  • Care Guru: Provide personal care support to clients, including daily living tasks.
  • Behaviour Whisperer: Work collaboratively with clients to develop personalised behaviour plans.
  • Family Connector: Communicate with clients' families to share progress and successes.
  • Transport Legend: Transport clients to programs and appointments safely and efficiently.
  • Admin Wizard: Maintain accurate records and provide administrative support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in the disability sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • A Certificate in Community Services or equivalent qualification is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
