Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to improve workshop productivity, support the achievement of production goals, and perform maintenance tasks for workshop and plant machinery as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembling pumps, motors, and valves to meet production objectives.
  • Identifying and reporting any production challenges affecting delivery timelines.
  • Ensuring high-quality output to minimize warranty claims.
  • Effectively managing labor across various projects.
  • Adhering to detailed assembly guidelines as outlined in build manuals.
  • Participating in maintenance and repair of equipment breakdowns.
  • Overseeing the availability and calibration of tools and machinery.
  • Contributing to the resolution of customer or internal quality issues.

Qualifications:

  • Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Commitment to maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Possession of a Mechanical Trade Certification.
  • Proven technical knowledge of hydraulic systems and components.
  • Experience in the repair of hydraulic or mechanical components.
  • Ability to work autonomously with a strong sense of dedication and reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
