Lecturer in Water Resources Engineering

This is an exciting opportunity for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander academic to join the University of South Australia's STEM faculty as a Lecturer in Water Engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering, and coordinating courses within the undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate programs in Water Engineering, with a focus on water resources, water quality, climate change, and natural resource management.

Key Responsibilities- Design and develop engaging, relevant, and technology-enhanced curricula for identified programs and courses in Water Engineering.
- Undertake administrative duties related to teaching activities, including course and program material development.
- Coordinate courses and provide leadership to other academic staff in the teaching team.
- Deliver high-quality teaching informed by relevant research, scholarship, and industry practice.
- Provide quality and timely feedback, academic counselling, mentoring, and advice to students.
- A doctoral qualification in Civil, Water, or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in teaching, including design and preparation of teaching activities and resources.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake industry-engaged research in areas contributing to UniSA's research strengths and strategic directions.
- Understanding of and experience in using contemporary teaching methodologies, including digital techniques.
- An established record of research publications, student supervision, and/or grant acquisition.
