We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Water Systems Planning Engineer to join our team at SA Water. As a key member of our Infrastructure Planning and Strategy business unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective distribution of water across the state.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise in water distribution system hydraulic modeling and planning.
- Assess and develop plans for both existing and future infrastructure.
- Support business cases and projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Contribute to model development and maintenance to ensure hydraulic reliability.
- Offer technical advice and solutions on water systems across South Australia.
- Implement effective communication strategies using strong written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for professional development and building team capability.
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience.
- A strong understanding of hydraulic engineering principles, procedures, and practices.
- Knowledge of infrastructure investigations, and design concepts, particularly in water supply systems, is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
