Property Network of Australia is a leading National Shopping Centre Group with a prominent presence in the Mount Gambier area.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Centre Manager / Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of our esteemed shopping centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Centre Presentation: Regularly inspect the centre to ensure exceptional presentation and maintain high standards.
  • Marketing Support: Provide marketing assistance as required, adhering to established budgets.
  • Leasing Coordination: Collaborate with assigned leasing agents on vacant space leasing, if necessary.
  • Issue Assessment: Identify and address significant issues or contentious matters affecting the centre, tenants, or surrounding properties.
  • Rent Reviews: Conduct timely and accurate rent reviews in line with guidelines.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including accruals and cash variances.
  • Tenant Management: Maintain up-to-date records for tenant insurance and bank guarantees/deposits.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to organisational principles and practices, including risk management and corporate governance.
  • Financial Control: Monitor and report on the centre's financial position (actual vs. budget).
  • Budget Preparation: Develop annual budgets for final approval by the Regional Property Manager and Account Director.
About You

We seek a highly skilled individual with:

  • A relevant degree, such as a Bachelor of Business (Property), preferred.
  • A Certificate of Registration (Agent's Rep) – Essential.
  • A current Driver's Licence – Mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Property Industry, ideally including Retail experience.
  • Previous experience preparing complex budgets and comprehensive reports.
  • Significant experience in negotiating leases and rent reviews.
What We Offer

This role offers a competitive salary package, including $135k to $140k per annum, depending on experience.
