Senior ServiceNow Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Delivery Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will provide senior technical assistance to ICT Service Management Projects within Enterprise and Technology Services.

• Lead the development of technical designs in specific application, infrastructure or functional areas.
• Provide advice on ICT tools and methods to ensure their availability, understanding, and employment.
• Scripting, coding, and development in ServiceNow to implement modules, features, and enhancements.
• Identify and implement improvements, process flows, automation, and work closely with internal and external ServiceNow teams to enable better outcomes.
• Work with operational and project teams and vendors to prepare and deliver technical plans, work packages for provisioning/decommissioning environments, implementation of standard offerings, and fulfillment of ICT governance obligations.
• Build product roadmaps, requirements collection, and release planning and scheduling for core product development.
• Architecture, design, delivery, and retirement of APIs, API development frameworks; champion maintainability, portability, reusability, testability, abstraction, ease of use, packaging, and backward compatibility in design.
• Monitor applications and middleware to gain knowledge of emerging technologies, architectural paradigms, patterns, and principles.
• Use appropriate tools to design and contribute to reusable solution architecture, including detailed component specifications, documentation, use case examples, and samples.
• Undertake analysis for internal and vendor proposals, outlining technical viability, identifying potential problems, and proposing effective solutions.
• Lead activities in product delivery, monitor performance, provide advice, and assist in formulating solutions to complex system and programming problems.
• Provide advice on technical aspects of the solution, including development, coding, scripting, integration, changes, deviations from specifications, etc., contributing to improvements and implementing technical strategies, standards, and practices (including security).
• Leverage specialist expertise and collaborate with other teams and vendors to achieve outcomes for the requesting business unit.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with team members, vendors, clients, and stakeholders; be responsive, flexible, and adaptable to changing needs.
• Presentation messages clearly and concisely, focusing on key points and using appropriate language and medium for communication.

• ServiceNow Admin Certification (or higher)
• At least 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience (e.g., ITSM, ITSM Pro, ITOM, CSM, Digital Product Release)

• Extensive ServiceNow development, coding, architecture, administration, enhancements, maintenance, and integrations and data management.
• ServiceNow scripting and automation (Business Rules, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Workflow Design).
• ITIL and IT Service Management.
• Experience in the Public sector and large government departments is advantageous.

• Compiled, scripting, or query languages: ASP.NET, .Net Core, SQL Server, Angular, React, C#, Glide, HTML, and CSS, PowerShell.
• Microsoft Azure knowledge (Azure functions, Azure app services).
