Job Title:

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Professional to join our team as a key advisor in Compliance Advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify breaches of law and regulations, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure compliance activities align with company objectives.
  • Oversight of breach identification, investigation, and reporting processes to guarantee timely corrective action when breaches occur.
  • Lead initiatives to drive change in compliance matters, taking ownership of implementation and ensuring seamless integration with existing policies and procedures.
  • Oversee local and international compliance requirements, guidelines, and internal controls to maintain regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop and implement effective compliance strategies that meet QBE's regulatory obligations.
  • Provide proactive advice on compliance matters, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise to minimize regulatory risk and ensure alignment with regulator expectations.

About the Role

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a proven track record in compliance or risk management within the financial services sector.
  • A deep understanding of relevant compliance regulations and laws is essential for success in this role.
  • Experience in insurance or general insurance industries is highly desirable but not mandatory.
