About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Advisory Consultant to join our team at BDO. As a key member of our Project and Infrastructure Advisory Team, you will play a critical role in the planning and delivery of city and region-shaping infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Strategy and Assurance: Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver project strategy and assurance, planning, and project/program management services.
  • Business Development: Opportunities to undertake or learn business development activities, including engaging with current and potential future clients and tracking potential engagement opportunities.
  • Proposal Development: Development and implementation of engagement pursuit strategies, preparation of proposals, and managing tender processes.
  • Market Awareness: Sharing your awareness of the broader market environment and industry trends.
  • Client Relationships: Maintaining strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders, project partners, and broader industry.
  • Team Collaboration: Contributing to team planning, development, and maintenance of a high-performance culture, including coaching and mentoring to support learning and development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in engineering, town planning, transport planning, economics, or other civil or social infrastructure specializations.
  • Project Management Experience: Experience in project and/or program management and business case development within civil or social infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Skills: Strong collaboration skills, technical planning capabilities, well-developed report writing, presentation, and spreadsheeting skills, and experience in managing or preparing program/project controls.
  • Engagement Skills: Effective engagement and stakeholder management skills in complex environments.
