We're seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team in Sydney. As a Product Designer at Dovetail, you'll play a key role in crafting experiences, interactions, and solutions that improve our product for customers and drive user adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for the end user, deeply understanding customer needs, perspectives, and goals through regular customer interactions, research initiatives, and evaluative testing.
  • Design solutions across our product experience, balancing customer problems with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Contribute to our product vision, facilitating input from engineers, product managers, leadership, and other designers.
  • Pair closely with engineers to ensure high-quality product experiences.
  • Contribute to our design system, working with designers and engineers to create and evolve patterns and components.

Requirements:

  • Strong design experience, preferably in B2B, cloud software.
  • Breadth of skills across the design process, including product discovery, visualisation, prototyping, and solution delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey opinions, thoughts, and feelings with teammates and customers.
  • Attention to detail, with a high quality bar and a commitment to enhancing the customer experience.
  • Pragmatism, with the ability to solve problems resourcefully and make trade-offs while holding a bigger strategic goal in mind.
