Job Description

We're seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our design team, you'll play a crucial role in crafting experiences, interactions, and solutions that drive user adoption and improve our product for customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advocate for the end user, deeply understanding customer needs, perspectives, and goals through regular customer interactions, research initiatives, and evaluative testing.
  • Design solutions across our product experience, balancing customer problems with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Contribute to our product vision, facilitating input from engineers, product managers, leadership, and other designers.
  • Pair closely with engineers to ensure high-quality product experiences.
  • Contribute to our design system, working closely with designers and engineers to create and evolve patterns and components.
  • Contribute to our design team culture, helping to scale design rituals and maintain our high quality bar as the product team grows.
Requirements
  • Strong design experience, preferably in B2B, cloud software.
  • Breadth of skills across the design process, including product discovery, visualisation, prototyping, and solution delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey opinions, thoughts, and feelings with teammates and customers.
  • Attention to detail, with a high quality bar and a passion for enhancing customer experiences.
  • Pragmatism, with the ability to solve problems, make trade-offs, and hold a bigger strategic goal in mind.
  • Highly collaborative working style, with experience working closely with adjacent roles.
  • Stakeholder management, with the ability to communicate product and design visions, frame challenges and opportunities, and drive towards an outcome.
  • A great attitude, with a sense of urgency, risk, and uncertainty about the future.
