Corporate Strategy and Performance Executive

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare is the authoritative source of health and welfare data and analysis in Australia. As an independent national information and statistics agency within the Commonwealth's Health portfolio, we publish over 400 data products annually, maintain and administer specialised national data standards and classifications, and support high-quality research.

The Executive Director – Corporate Strategy and Performance reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), overseeing the work of the newly established Corporate Strategy and Performance Division. This role will shape the delivery of strategies, functions, and capabilities that underpin the organisation's performance in relation to data governance, financial management, human resources, communications, web services, information and communication technology, security, and property management.

For this critical role, you will need experience leading corporate-wide functions, enabling business operations, and managing data assets. You must excel in complex environments, drive positive change, and possess strategic and operational leadership credentials. Your focus on results and ability to manage sensitive issues under pressure will be paramount.
