Aerospace Quality Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in quality management, Defence Aviation Safety Regulations, and stakeholder engagement. As an aerospace quality specialist, you will play a critical role in sustaining one of Australia's most advanced airborne capabilities.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the MC-55A Peregrine Quality Management System to ensure alignment with Defence Aviation policies and regulatory requirements. This includes maintaining ASCISPO DASR 21 Part C Organisation Approval, ensuring compliance with Defence Aviation Safety Regulations for design and production activities within the Airborne Surveillance and Control Integrated Systems Program Office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality auditing and managing compliance frameworks. They will also possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative approach across Defence and industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experienced in both quality management and Defence Aviation Safety Regulations
  • Demonstrated capability in quality auditing and managing compliance frameworks
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement
  • Holds an NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance and is an Australian citizen
